I was reading Family Volley a website about family and advice for a better tomorrow. In one of her blogs she claimed to have the "best laundry tip ever". I figured I needed to check that out. Sure enough I think it is a great tip. She says as part of her morning routine when she wakes up she puts on a load of laundry. By the time breakfast is done she switches the load to the dryer. By the time she returns from droping off her kids at school the laundry is ready to be folded and put away. She says she does this every day so the loads are small and manageable.

I've always done laundry daily. I used to do it at night, in much the same manner as your tip suggests - put the load in before starting to cook supper, switch it to the dryer as supper is going on the table, fold and put away once the kids are in bed. That worked for me for YEARS and, now that I don't have little ones to wash for, it makes my wee bitty loads almost non-existent!

I am an older mom with multiples. To say it the P.C. way, I have "advanced maternal age".
